Mukesh Kumar Chawla, is a politician who has been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh since February 2024.
He has been serving as the Minister of Excise, Taxation & Narcotics for the past 17 years. He also served as Minister of Information Technology from 2008 to 2013.
Mukesh Kumar Chawla was first elected to the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in 2002. Having a strong political background, Mukesh Kumar Chawla has since been re-elected a total of 4 times in 2008, 2013, 2018 and 2024.
His father, Bhagwan Das Chawla, served as member National Assembly in 1988, and his sister Ratina Chawla served as Senator in 2008.
